What does it cost to have an affordable Web Site created by Evolution Design Concepts for my small business?

There are many things that enter into the cost of affordable web and graphic design. How many pages do you need?  How many photos do your web pages need?  Do you require custom designed graphics? Do you want an online form for visitors to submit information to you? Will you have products to sell that will require secure online credit card processing and or a gateway system.  How many products will be sold and will they require a shopping cart enabled system. In addition to the items mentioned, there are many other items that can enhance your website that you may need or want that can affect the final cost of your custom website.

We suggest that you take advantage of our Consultation, during which our consultant and you can determine exactly what website features you need and want included on your business web pages.  We then can give you a free estimate of the costs that will be involved.

May we also highly recommend one of our New Website Packages on our design page, which offers the small to medium size business flexibility and cost saving.

Once my new website is complete I would like to arrange a payment plan to pay for my website over time, can this be arranged.

The fees involved in creating a new website must be paid in two installments without exception. 50% of the estimated total cost of your website is required to begin work on your customized small business website design project.  The remaining 50% of the fees are due immediately when your completed custom website is published to the Internet.  72 hours after your website is published, should payment not be received, the  website will be removed to await further instructions from the client.

I would like two more new pages added to my website along with a slide show and audio podcast. How is this payable.

The terms of maintenance any add-ons to a website after it is complete are total payment in advance of any work being done. There are no exceptions to this rule. The customer will make a request for whatever additional service is required and a formal price quote will be emailed to the client. Upon acceptance of said quote payment will be due in full in advance of any additional services being rendered. The customer may also pay the invoice by sending in a check or a money order.  All checks received will require a 3 business day delay before work is begun based on the time required for bank clearance.

How long will it take for my web site to be designed?

The timescale of a website design project is often dictated by the client. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation and completion of a new website is waiting for all content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client and last minute changes and adjustments that requested by the client.

Will we need to have a meeting in connection with the website design?

In the majority of cases a meeting isn't necessary and most of our websites are generally completed with contact via email and telephone only. We place suggested website designs onto the Internet in a private password protected web address, where only you and your associates can view the content. We then converse with you regularly to discuss the web designs in order that the website design and functionality is exactly as you wish.

What is an E-Commerce website?

If your website accepts credit card payments online it is considered an E-Commerce website.

Generally speaking an E-Commerce website is a website on which a person or company sells products online and on which a customer uses a credit card to pay for the products that they purchase. However, an E-Commerce website can also be a website on which you accept payments for invoices which you have mailed to customers, accept donation to a non-profit organization and more.

I already have a website and I need it updating, can you help me?

No. We have found all to often that the cost of updating a website that we did not design requires a complete revampting of  code to meet today's new cross browser compatibility standards. It is often more less expensive to the customer to have a site redesigned that to have a site updated with new optimized code to make both text and graphics search engine friendly. We would be happy to look at you existing website and give you a quote for for a complete redesign.

In what format should I supply words and photographs about my business for my new website?

It is helpful to us if you are able to provide text and photographs in electronic form - for example, the files output by a digital camera and the words in MS word or similar format. If this is not possible, we can help get your information ready for use on the website.

I run a small/medium size business and want an online presence to promote my business in a professional manner to new customers and to provide a more professional image to existing customers. What do I need to achieve this?

You need a professionally developed website, a domain name, and hosting facilities for your website. You also need the website to be uploaded onto your hosting facilities and promoted to the search engines.

Will everyone see my web site the same?

Your website visitors will see some things differently depending on their browser, screen resolution setting and their individual computer settings and toolbars. We design sites with that in mind and preview them in several browser types and resolution settings before publishing. Obviously as technology alters then eventually all websites may need reevaluation.

Can you provide all our web design and hosting services?

Yes - we are your one stop company to provide all your web services. No more - not knowing who to call if you have problems - we can register your domain name - design your website - provide your web hosting and arrange your email accounts for you.

Can I have email with my new website and hosting account with Evolution Design Concepts

Yes you can have email and you will probably wish you set-up several email addressed e.g. sale@your-domain.com, info@your-domain.com, john.smith@your-domain.com

Can I see how many visitors I've had to my website?

Yes we provide web tracking software which records where you visitors are coming from and which pages they looked at, which search engines are being used, which phrases are being typed into which search engines and many more interesting web tracking facts which you should find useful for future marketing campaigns.

Who owns the website once the website design is completed?

Once the website has completed and paid for in full the website belongs to you.  The website remains the exclusive property of Evolution Design Concepts until the total payment for the website has been completed.

Can you get my website on the first page of Google or Yahoo?

No, we cannot guarantee that your website will be on the first page of Google or Yahoo if someone searches by using a broad search term. However, if the search query is made for a very specific term, such as your business name, then there is a likelihood your organization should be on the first page of search results in your county or community.

I would suggest that you be extremely cautious in dealing with anyone that's says they can insure first page placement in Google or other major search engines when someone uses a general and commonly used term for their search query that scans hundreds of thousands of companies like yours.

A lot of what page of Google (or any other search engine) your website shows up on depends on how competitive your Keywords are.  As an example, if you have a business that sells model airplanes. There are more than 25,900 Web sites in existence that have been optimized for the keyphrase "model airplanes".  So, unless IN DEPTH SEO is used to optimize your website for the keyphrase "model airplanes" is is pretty unlikely that you would end up on the first page of Google when someone searches for that general term "model airplanes".
